IEEE Big Data Conferences and Workshops
The IEEE Big Data conference series began in 2013 and has quickly established itself as one of the premier Big Data research conferences. The IEEE Big Data 2019 conference took place in Los Angeles, CA, with a regular paper acceptance rate of 18.7% and close to 1200 participants from 54 countries. The previous year's conference was held in Seattle, WA, from Dec 10-13. The attendance at this year's conference was close to one thousand, with close to one hundred and forty papers being accepted.
1. IEEE Future Directions Big Data Initiative
This report summarizes key findings and challenges from a series of workshops and conferences organized by IEEE on Big Data. The overall results highlight the importance of leveraging big data to improve the educational sector. Educational Data Warehouses and big data analytics tools can play a pivotal role in managing educational problems, but only if educators understand how to use them effectively. The workshop attendees also discussed how big data can be used to advance science education.
The IEEE Future Directions Big Data Initiative offers a comprehensive, multifaceted approach to the topic. The organization provides an extensive resource collection, a community of professionals, and various outlets to help practitioners make sense of the enormous volumes of data being created today. Several industries have adopted the initiative, and the initiative has a wide range of applications. There are five key features of Big Data that all researchers should be familiar with. In addition to volume and velocity, Big Data is characterized by diversity and veracity.
Bio-inspired methods have been widely used for data analysis, but they have traditionally been focused on a small set of application scenarios. However, bio-inspired modeling solutions are gaining ground with advanced algorithms and tools. Bio-inspired computing solvers are also emerging, and these can be automated and incorporated into data warehouses. Such smart management can lead to significant improvements in resource usage and cost. The benefits of big data solutions are vast and are transforming industries everywhere.
Bio-inspired algorithms are emerging as a way to overcome scale and complexity of Big Data. They are an excellent example of how to solve problems in highly configurable systems. They are also a great fit for Big Data, as they have a proven track record for network security. Ultimately, this approach can help us secure our infrastructure and provide better results. But we have to look beyond the technological advancements that are already available.
The combination of bio-inspired algorithms and Big Data technologies offers a unique opportunity to improve the efficiency of these technologies. By integrating bio-inspired algorithms into the architecture of Big Data technologies, we can create new approaches to analyze the data and implement solutions. Bio-inspired algorithms can provide solutions to the drawbacks of existing Big Data technologies, including NoSQL databases, load planners and schedulers, and tools that assist analytical tasks. These new technologies offer parallel, distributable, and scalable workloads.
2. IEEE International Conference on Big Data 2021
The IEEE International Conference on Big Data 2021 (BDCAT 2021) will be one of the premier forums for disseminating new research in BigData analytics. Bringing together the world's foremost researchers, BDCAT 2021 will foster knowledge transfer and technical advances in addressing the 5 V's of BigData. The conference will also identify the deep technical and scientific nature of big data problems, and will offer a vision for next-generation solutions for data-driven decision-making.
This conference will bring together researchers from different disciplines, including computer science, data management, cloud computing, and Internet of Things applications. The conference will include topics related to big data infrastructure, management, search and mining, privacy, and applications. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear the latest results and collaborate with leading researchers in the field. There will also be an opportunity to network with leading researchers. Here are just a few reasons to attend IEEE International Conference on Big Data 2021.
The Industrial Track will seek papers describing BigData solutions in industrial settings. Full papers up to 10 pages are invited for this track, as well as shorter extended abstracts of two to four pages. All papers must follow the IEEE Computer Society's Proceedings Manuscript Formatting Guidelines. Presented papers will be judged on their technical merit. There are no registration fees for BigDataService 2021. The event is held in Bulgaria.
The IEEE CSCS conference accepts both workshop proposals and full papers. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will be invited to be extended and published in journals (SCI-Index). Additionally, all accepted papers will be followed by a live audience question session. For this reason, authors are encouraged to prepare slides for presentations. To facilitate participation, they can share their screens during a Zoom meeting.
In addition to the physical format of the congress, the Moodle website will allow participants to connect with other attendees. The Moodle website contains all information necessary to attend the congress. You will find all conference details on the Moodle website, as well as the schedules of individual sessions. You can also participate in interactive workshops and poster sessions using Zoom rooms. If you are unable to attend the conference in person, there are other ways to communicate with other participants.
3. IEEE Transactions on Big Data
IEEE Transactions on Big Data is an open access journal that publishes research on the latest trends in big data. The journal has an ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) of 23327790. This ISSN is used to identify the journal's impact on the scientific community. This journal has a h-index of 6. Considering the citation impact of its articles, it has an overall ranking of 4650.
The journal also publishes peer-reviewed papers on big data, and focuses on cross-disciplinary research and applications. Big data research areas include: big data analytics, data visualization, curation, and management, big-data infrastructure and standards, and intelligence and scientific discovery from big data. Big data is also being studied to help improve e-commerce, health care, and energy management. Big data is becoming an increasingly valuable part of our world, but how can we harness its potential to improve our daily lives?
IEEE Transactions on Big Data publishes research on the intersection of big data and services. The journal publishes original research on data science, artificial intelligence, and big data applications in all areas of computing.
